Take Care of Yourself

  • Glenn Bott

As you move through your day start telling the story about how powerful you are.  How clever, how smart, how funny, how capable, how creative, how loving, how strong, how good looking, how energetic, how successful, how wealthy, how healthy, how fortunate, how beautiful you really are.  Tell this story often.  Keep this soundtrack running in the background of your mind.  You can’t do this too much.

I recommend this because I am seeing the benefits of doing this.  Too often we get start telling and repeating the story in our heads of what is.  Since we live in a dynamic Universe where anything is possible, we need to utilize our creative powers to start creating what we want.  Since we’re always listening to whatever we say, we need to start saying phrases that are helpful.

When I notice that my energy is at low ebb, and that I’m not feeling as energetic as usual, I immediately check in to see what I’m thinking.  Whenever I do this I notice that my thoughts aren’t as positive or loving as I’d like them to be.  It’s really amazing that if someone else was saying this stuff we’d immediately correct them or ask them to be quiet.  But NO – not when it’s us doing the talking.  We take if all in, just because it’s an old habit and we didn’t realize our creative power prior to now.

I suggest reclaiming your power and start talking about the wonderful things you’re going to do, the fun you’re going to have creating new things, the great people you’re going to meet, and the health you now have.  You need to be diligent at first – this is new to most people.  Most of us have grown up not realizing our power and following in the steps of those who came before us.  What’s the harm in having some idle, or less than healthy thoughts?  Well, we now know that our thoughts are extremely powerful and we’re constantly creating.  Time to assume our rightful position at the helm of this great ship – the S.S. ME.
